The Centre Georges Pompidou is an architectural marvel of the 20th Century, recognised by its external escalators and enormous coloured pipes.
The works of must-see artists are displayed chronologically, in two spaces: the modern from 1905 to 1960 (Matisse, Picasso, Dubuffet, etc.) and the contemporary period from 1960 to today (Andy Warhol, Niki de Saint Phalle, Anish Kapoor, etc).
