November brings together four consumer fairs in Paris that have almost nothing in common: think high-end pastry one day and fine-art photography the next, made-in-France craftsmanship alongside organic living and wellbeing. Three exhibition venues, three different moods, with dates stretching from late October to mid-November. Perfect for a weekend outing, a family day out or a cultural break during a stay in Paris. After the five ideas in our October selection, the fair season continues, and from the 9th arrondissement, around Place de Clichy, all of it is reachable by metro, although travel times vary considerably depending on the venue.

Salon du Chocolat: sweet treats straddling two months

The Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie de Paris returns for its 31st edition from 28 October to 1 November 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (Pavillon 5). It is the big Parisian event dedicated to chocolate and pastry, the one that closes out October and opens November, open every day from 10am to 7pm. The 2026 ticketing was not yet open at the time of writing, so prices will need to be confirmed on the official website, which lets you sign up to be notified when booking opens.

Salon Marjolaine: organic living, ecology and wellbeing at the Parc Floral

For its 50th edition, Salon Marjolaine takes over the Parc Floral de Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes (12th), from 7 to 11 November 2026. It is France's major fair dedicated to organic living, ecology and wellbeing. Detailed opening hours and 2026 prices were not confirmed on the official website at the time of writing (a secondary source mentions a late weekday opening, still to be verified): it is best to check the ticketing, announced via Fnac Spectacles, before heading over.

Paris Photo: the bicentenary of photography at the Grand Palais

A highlight of the Parisian autumn, Paris Photo holds its 29th edition from 12 to 15 November 2026 under the glass roof of the Grand Palais (8th), a year that coincides with the bicentenary of photography (1826-2026). It is the major Parisian event dedicated to photography. Standard opening hours run from 1pm to 8pm (7pm on Sunday), subject to confirmation; Thursday 12 November appears to be reserved for VIP access by invitation, with the exact opening time for the general public still to be confirmed on the official ticketing, along with 2026 prices. Good to know: Paris Photo also appears in our November trade show calendar, which this time is aimed at buyers and exhibitors; for the general public, it is the Grand Palais visitor entrance that applies to you.

MIF Expo: made in France at Porte de Versailles

The same weekend, from 12 to 15 November 2026, MIF Expo, le Salon du Made in France brings together close to 1,000 exhibitors at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles (Hall 7.2). As the name suggests, every product on show is manufactured in France. Open Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm, it is free with online pre-registration; entry on site costs €10, refunded on your first purchase.

Three venues, three travel times from the 9th

The distinctive feature of this month is the geographical spread. From the Hôtel R de Paris, at 41 rue de Clichy, by far the closest venue is the Grand Palais: line 13 links Place de Clichy to Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau in five stops, then a five-minute walk, so about a quarter of an hour door to door for Paris Photo. For the Salon du Chocolat and MIF Expo, Porte de Versailles is reached in around thirty minutes with a change at Montparnasse-Bienvenüe (line 13 then line 12); allow a little extra time during rush hour. The Parc Floral is the furthest out: allow around 45 to 50 minutes via line 2 then line 1 to Château de Vincennes, followed by a fifteen-minute walk or bus 112, a route worth checking on an RATP journey planner before setting off.

Settling in the 9th between outings

Spreading these fairs over several days makes sense: they share neither the same dates nor the same neighbourhoods. The Hôtel R de Paris, a boutique hotel in the 9th arrondissement, offers a central base, a seven-minute walk from Gare Saint-Lazare and on line 13, which runs directly to the Grand Palais. To extend the visit beyond the exhibition halls, our Paris tourism guide helps put together the rest of the stay, from nearby museums to neighbourhood restaurants, backed up by the Conciergify concierge service.
