Six professional gatherings, three exhibition venues, and industries that have almost nothing in common: November 2026 is one of the busiest months on the Paris calendar. The hospitality trade opens the run at Porte de Versailles, risk prevention and naval defence follow in the same week, photography takes over the Grand Palais in mid-November, and the final week belongs to local government.
Here are the dates, venues, opening hours and access conditions recorded in late July 2026, show by show and in chronological order, followed by the part that really matters when you're travelling from further afield: how to reach each venue and where to stay. If your trip falls earlier, October 2026's B2B calendar is still available.
EquipHotel: 2 to 5 November 2026
EquipHotel, the major hospitality and catering trade show, opens the month at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in halls 4, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3. Open from 9:30am to 6:30pm on 2, 3 and 4 November, then 9:30am to 5:30pm on Thursday 5 November.
Access is strictly reserved for hospitality and catering professionals: proof of activity may be requested, children are not admitted, and the badge is obtained free of charge online before arrival. On site: metro line 12 (Porte de Versailles station) or line 8 (Balard), and tramways T2 and T3a.
Expoprotection and Euronaval: same week, two different worlds
From 3 to 5 November, Expoprotection occupies hall 1 at Porte de Versailles, the same exhibition park as EquipHotel: risk prevention and management, safety and security. The 2026 access conditions were not detailed on the official pages consulted; the show has traditionally been aimed at industry professionals, but it's worth checking with the organiser before travelling.
At the same time, from 3 to 6 November, Euronaval sets up in hall 6 at Paris Nord Villepinte. This naval defence show brings together official delegations, military staff and manufacturers: a B2B and B2G event with no public access whatsoever. Two trade shows the same week, at opposite ends of the Île-de-France region: the kind of constraint worth building into a schedule early if attending both.
Street Food Trade Show: 7 and 8 November 2026
The following weekend, Paris Nord Villepinte hosts the Street Food trade show, dedicated to fast food and halal franchising. Franchisors, franchisees and suppliers: the event is billed as 100% B2B. Opening hours for the previous edition ran from 10am to 6pm, a useful benchmark until the 2026 hours are published.
Access is via RER B to the Parc des Expositions station, the venue's long-standing service. Traffic in Paris tends to be lighter on Saturdays and Sundays, but RER frequencies change at weekends, so it's worth checking the day before.
Paris Photo: 12 to 15 November 2026, at the Grand Palais
By mid-November, the calendar moves from the exhibition parks to the Grand Palais, 3 avenue du Général Eisenhower, in the 8th arrondissement. Paris Photo opens on Thursday 12 November with an invitation-only preview day, followed by public days on 13, 14 and 15 November, from 1pm to 8pm (7pm on Sunday).
It's the only event in this calendar that plays on both sides: a photography art fair open to the public with tickets, and a marketplace for galleries, collectors and image professionals. 2026 pricing had not been published by late July and should be checked on the fair's website. Saturday and Sunday remain the busiest days: a weekday visit, right at opening, offers noticeably more comfort.
Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales (Mayors and Local Authorities Fair): 24 to 26 November 2026
The month closes with the Salon des Maires, the gathering for elected officials and local government staff, held in hall 7 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 November. Opening hours are generous: 7:30am-8pm on the 24th, 8am-8pm on the 25th, then 8am-7pm on the 26th, enough room to fit in a meeting before the aisles open or at the very end of the day.
Access is reserved for professional visitors and elected officials holding a badge; the precise process for obtaining one was not listed on the official pages consulted, so it's best sorted out in advance with the organiser. On site, access is via Porte de Versailles station, on line 12.
Three venues, three different journeys
That's the particularity of November 2026: the trade shows are spread across Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in the 15th arrondissement, Paris Nord Villepinte in Seine-Saint-Denis, and the Grand Palais in the 8th. Three destinations, three very different journeys from central Paris.
- Porte de Versailles: line 12 runs directly to Porte de Versailles station; line 8 (Balard) and tramways T2 and T3a serve as alternatives. Covers EquipHotel, Expoprotection and the Salon des Maires.
- Paris Nord Villepinte: Gare du Nord, then RER B towards Charles-de-Gaulle airport to Parc des Expositions station. The longest journey of the three: allow a comfortable margin at peak times rather than scheduling a meeting straight after arrival. Covers Euronaval and the Street Food trade show.
- Grand Palais: line 13 goes directly to Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau, a few minutes' walk from the entrance. Covers Paris Photo.
For a late return, a same-day transfer between two venues, or a trip with equipment, a taxi or app-based ride often remains the most sensible choice: our guide to getting around Paris covers the options depending on time and distance.
Staying in the 9th arrondissement between two show days
Hôtel R de Paris, a 4-star boutique hotel with 40 rooms, is located at 41 rue de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement. Place de Clichy (lines 2 and 13), Liège (13) and Trinité-d'Estienne d'Orves (12) stations are a few minutes' walk away, and Gare Saint-Lazare is 7 minutes on foot: all three November trade show venues are reachable without a complicated detour, with line 12 running directly to Porte de Versailles and line 13 to the Grand Palais.
Breakfast, served from 7:30am (€20 per person, until 10am) leaves enough time to reach a trade show that opens at 9:30am, or to catch the first hour of the Salon des Maires, open from 7:30am on the Tuesday.
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out before noon: when a train arrives in the morning or a day at the show starts before check-in, the luggage storage service saves you from dragging a suitcase through the aisles. In the evening, the Bar Lounge is open from 6pm to midnight for hotel guests, and the sauna or hammam (€28 for a 45-minute session) helps you recover after a day on your feet.
The neighbourhood, too, makes all the difference for a business stay: the Casino de Paris is opposite, the Théâtre Mogador a few steps away, and the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores ten to fifteen minutes' walk. Enough to turn an after-show evening into a proper Parisian one, without getting back on the metro. Our rooms can be booked directly on the website, at the best rate guaranteed.
November is a period of high hotel demand in Paris: once EquipHotel and then the Salon des Maires fill Porte de Versailles, availability shrinks fast, and December follows straight on in its first week with Trustech and then SIMI. Once your dates are set, booking early remains the best move: our Early Booking offer is designed precisely for stays planned well ahead of departure.
