Hotel R de Paris

For the planet

Reversible Air Conditioning and Heating Control

Generally speaking, and depending on its energy class, the system allows you to save four times more energy. Specifically, a reversible air conditioner consumes 25 to 40% less energy than a conventional heating system.

The temperature is regulated in unoccupied rooms.

Eco-friendly Cleaning

Hotel R de Paris uses very few chemicals (in the toilets), and those used are certified eco-friendly. We use the Raypath method, which allows us to clean our rooms without chemicals, using vinegar and Marseille soap. A deeper cleaning is performed with a steam cleaner to clean all rooms and surfaces. This reduces our use of plastic packaging for cleaning products, reduces the transportation required for their delivery, and also eliminates the need for cleaning products within the hotel.

Consequently, we do not use artificially scented products, harsh carpet cleaners, chemical air fresheners, corrosive chemicals, or allergenic products.

In addition, guests may request that their room not be cleaned daily.

How to act in favor of the environment?

Adopting simple daily actions can make a big difference for our planet. Here are some eco-friendly tips:

Save energy

  • Unplug your devices : Phone chargers, cameras, computers, etc., consume energy even when they are not in use. Remember to unplug them to avoid the risk of fire.
  • Manage your heating : Lower the heating if you sleep with the windows open or if you are away.
  • Avoid standby mode : Devices in standby mode consume a lot of energy. Turn them off completely.
  • Turn off the lights: Remember to turn off the lights when leaving a room.

Recycling

  • Sort your waste: Use the appropriate bins for plastic bottles, cans, cardboard, etc.
  • Glass and batteries: Place your glass bottles near your recycling bin. Collection bowls for used batteries are available at reception.
  • Paper and other waste: Use recycled paper and dispose of non-recyclable waste in the regular bins.

Sustainable Mobility
