Hotel R de Paris uses very few chemicals (in the toilets), and those used are certified eco-friendly. We use the Raypath method, which allows us to clean our rooms without chemicals, using vinegar and Marseille soap. A deeper cleaning is performed with a steam cleaner to clean all rooms and surfaces. This reduces our use of plastic packaging for cleaning products, reduces the transportation required for their delivery, and also eliminates the need for cleaning products within the hotel.
Consequently, we do not use artificially scented products, harsh carpet cleaners, chemical air fresheners, corrosive chemicals, or allergenic products.
In addition, guests may request that their room not be cleaned daily.
