End of paper tickets: what to use in 2025?

The cardboard t+ ticket booklet is no longer sold: it's been replaced by contactless tickets. The easiest option is the Navigo Easy pass (physical card for €2) onto which you load Metro-Train-RER tickets, Bus-Tram tickets, or tram passes. You can also do everything with your smartphone (purchase and validation), or choose an unlimited pass like Paris Visite for 1 to 5 days. For emergency bus assistance, an onboard access ticket via SMS is available (no transfer required).
